Program Support and Gym Guidance at ALAC

At ALAC, our qualified gym instructors are here to support you with safe, effective and enjoyable training programs designed for all ages and fitness levels. Each program is personalised to help you improve your health, confidence and overall wellbeing.

Please speak with our Gym Team to arrange a session, and ask staff for the current pricing when booking.

Please note: ALAC is not currently offering ongoing one-on-one personal training sessions. Program development and review services are available as outlined below.

Your Initial Health & Fitness Appraisal

All new members receive a comprehensive health and fitness appraisal. During this session:

  • An ALAC Instructor will discuss your goals, lifestyle and training experience
  • A tailored workout program will be developed specifically for your needs
  • The instructor will guide you through the gym equipment to ensure you feel comfortable and confident using your program

This session sets you up for success from day one.

Ongoing Program Reviews

To help keep you progressing safely:

  • Trainers conduct regular program reviews
  • Adjustments are made based on your progress and goals
  • Instructors are available to offer advice, coaching and technique support

Members are entitled to up to three program reviews within a 12-month membership period.

Program Sessions for Non-Members

If you are:

  • Not a member, or
  • On a flexible/short-term membership
  • On a staff, City of Albany or complimentary membership

…you can still book a tailored program session with one of our instructors.
