Facility Hire

Albany Leisure and Aquatic Centre offers versatile spaces ideal for a wide range of sporting, community, and special events. Our pool areas, indoor courts, and meeting rooms (located at Retravision Stadium) can be configured to suit the unique requirements of your activity.

The court spaces are used daily for sports training and competitions, and have also hosted major events including large sporting tournaments, science fairs, senior games, ballroom dancing and various community gatherings.

Aquatic Facilities

Our aquatic area offers a wide range of activities and programs, including:

  • In-term swimming lessons
  • Aqua group fitness classes
  • Pool lane hire
  • Water polo and school carnivals
  • Birthday parties
  • Use of the water slide and inflatable (subject to availability)

The pool space is designed to be accessible and user-friendly, featuring pool ramps, water wheelchair access, a pool hoist, a hearing loop, six ACROD parking bays, and easy access for wheelchairs, prams and bikes.

Multi-Purpose Synthetic Turf

ALAC’s multi-purpose synthetic turf offers a high-quality, true playing surface ideal for hockey and a range of other outdoor sports. The full-size wet turf field is fully lit and can be divided into halves to accommodate training bookings.

The Lower Great Southern Hockey Association also has clubroom facilities on site, providing convenient undercover viewing for spectators.

Sports Stadium

The indoor sports stadium at ALAC features seven courts available for hire, suitable for a wide range of sporting and recreational activities.

Regular court use includes Basketball, Netball, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Indoor Hockey, Indoor Soccer, Futsal, Badminton, Tennis and Roller Skating. The versatile space also hosts community events such as Seniors Games, Science Fairs, Frisbee Golf, drone displays and more.

Retravision Stadium Meeting Room Hire

The Retravision Stadium Meeting Rooms located on Lockyer Avenue and are available to hire through the Recreation Bookings Officer on (08) 6820 3406 or email alacbookings@albany.wa.gov.au.  The meeting rooms can be set up in a number of different configurations providing interactive spaces for meetings, lectures and working group conference sessions.
