The newly introduced 2023 Wellington and Reeves Albany Sportsperson of the Year award recognises athletes who have competed at state, national, or international levels. Nominees should have been residents of Albany for a minimum of 2 years, with Albany's influence significantly contributing to their sporting achievements.
